Access Hypnotherapy Clinic specialises in helping people quit smoking, lose weight, deal with anxiety, stress, depression, and any other issue of an emotional basis
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Other hypnotherapists have found that the majority of their business now comes from their websites
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
This is my first website and I launched it in April 2009
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I looked at the local copy of the Golden Pages (Yellow Pages) and tried to pick a name for my business that would be the first alphabetical listing in the Hypnotherapy category
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
With my Quit Smoking system, I am uniquely positioned to help people to quit because I used to smoke up to 50 a day myself. I tried on numerous occasions to give up using just willpower but failed every time. And eight and a half years ago, I went to see a hypnotherapist and haven't smoked since. I was so impressed that I decided to become a hypnotherapist myself.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My eventual goal is to have a chain of offices throughout Ireland with the consequent benefits in terms of advertising on national media.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I love what I do, so it's easy to spend my time on my business. I don't even notice the time going by - that's what happens when you are doing what you love.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would advertise on radio which is beyong my budget at the moment.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes.
